A classmate once described Marq as "the most gracious person I have ever known"...and I came to understand how eloquent that was...

Patty Derrickson (Bair)
Marq was as unique as the spelling of his name.
I was friends with Marq from junior high on. . .and will never forget that cute, gravelly laugh. How could anyone resist it?
I talked to Marq a week or so before he died, and he was still as upbeat as ever. What an inspiration!
