Children: One Son; John Harpool, born in 1970(has two wonderful children) and One Daughter; Anne Thomas, born More…in 1961. John graduated from SFA, is an airline pilot for a Subsidiary of Delta, and Anne graduated from University of California, is a Real Estate Accountant for City of Houston.

Grand-daughter is an RN at St. Luke's in the Woodlands, TX. Jacob is a Senior at Texas A&M. Planning to have his Masters in May 2022.

What was the most "fun" or "exhilarating" activity you've experienced in the past two years?

Cruising and vacationing in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Again and again. Love the Southern Caribbean. Cruising many of the same places. Mostly out of Galveston. But we have put all cruises this year on hold until further notice. Damn Virus! We are okay, so far, but in quarantined until 5/25/20.

What is it you hope to accomplish in the next five years?

More wonderful travel with friends. Watching our Granddaughter's career as an RN in Lubbock, TX, and The Woodlands, TX And our Grandson who entered Texas A & M in College Station this year (2017) after graduating with honors from Klein Oak High School. Seeking Engineering Degree.

Friendships and Rock and Roll

History and Algebra teachers

57 Chevy. Fisher's HiBoy at Sunshine and Glenstone. (Rock-Away Beach)

More responsible.

What careers have you pursued?

Engineering

What has been your most exciting or interesting experience?

Stationed in Wurzberg, Germany in the Army.

What do you do these days to have fun?

Planning vacations with our friends and family. Been on several cruises, and loving the leisure time...

What is it you still hope to do/accomplish?

Continue living and doing what I'm doing. Staying healthy.

I remember John from Jr High.  He was a quiet and and nice person.  Sorry to hear of his passing.

Darrell was a great guy!  I became friends with him all the way back to Pipkin Jr. High.  He was full of fun and a truly sincere friend.  Very sorry to hear the news.
