What is your first instantaneous memory of Parkview?

A brand new building. So different from Jarrett. Big, modern and a lot of glass.

Who was your favorite teacher and/or class and why?

Miss Cunningham, English Literature. She taught me to value words and appreciate their use.

What was your most embarrassing moment at Parkview?

My most embarrassing moment was in October of my junior year. I was wearing a monogramed pendant Joe Reddick had given me the previous Christmas. I was wearing it only because I thought he was still living in Tulsa. The embarrassment came when I saw Joe and I had told him I had thrown the pendant away at the end of the 10th grade, having added I did not like him. I can still rememberexactly what I was wearing---and how my heart thudded.

A blue 1951 Ford and cruising around Taylor's

What careers have you pursued?

Wife; mother; grandmother; social worker in adoptions and foster care; social work and sociology professor.

What has been your most exciting or interesting experience?

Forty-six years of marriage. :-)

What do you do these days to have fun?

Go on long cruises.

What is it you still hope to do/accomplish?

Continue to be a Christian mentor and positive influence on college-age young adults.
